The Mason City Mohawk’s Learn to Play program is the next step following the completion of Learn to Skate. Each session consists of two 1 hour classes per week for a total of 12 weeks. Students will continue to develop their skating skills while being introduced to basic hockey skills such as puck handling, passing, and shooting. Upon completion, students will be ready to join our youth hockey program!
- Full hockey padding and stick is required. Skates will still be available to rent
- Brand new sets of full gear (minus skates and stick) are available for Learn to Play students to rent for the whole session. These equipment packages require a deposit check of $200- upon the return of the equipment, the check will be shredded and nullified
- Students will constantly be evaluated, and can be moved into our youth hockey program at their specific age group as soon as the coaches deem them ready

Pricing
$200 deposit for a Learn to Play equipment package (optional)
$50 deposit for a Learn to Play and Learn to Skate Helmet Rental.
$50 per student for the full 12-week session of Learn to Skate
$100 per student for the full 12-week session of Learn to Play
General Schedule
The weekly schedule is subject to change, but the general schedule will be as follows:

- 6:00-7:00 pm
Saturdays
- 9:00-10:00 am
